Spotify is betting big on conversational AI with a new ChatGPT-like assistant that lets Premium subscribers chat their way to new music and podcasts, according to reports this week. Instead of typing artist names or scrolling through playlists, you can now ask the app questions like a friend who knows your taste.

This isn't Spotify's first AI experiment. The company already uses machine learning for personalized playlists like Discover Weekly and has tested AI-generated playlist art.
